About Sea to Sky Collective
Celebrating food, culture, and creativity across the Sea to Sky—on the traditional and unceded territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), Lil’wat Nation, and St̓át̓imc Nation—the Sea to Sky Cooks Collective is a region-wide cultural storytelling collective that blends food, art, and community to showcase the people, places, and practices that make this corridor unique.
Grounded in collaboration and community engagement, we bring together chefs, farmers, food producers, artists, cultural leaders, storytellers, and residents to highlight the rich diversity of local culinary culture. By amplifying local voices and creating high-quality, place-based content, we aim to build a shared cultural narrative that reflects the spirit, resilience, and creativity of our communities.
What We Do
Sea to Sky Cooks is a collaborative cultural storytelling collective documenting the relationship between food, place, and creativity across the Sea to Sky Corridor of BC. Our work spans recipes, photography, visual art, personal stories, and profiles of the makers and growers shaping the corridor’s culinary identity.
How We Work
We use a multidisciplinary approach—combining food writing, visual storytelling, and community engagement—to create a portrait of the Sea to Sky that reflects its character, culture, and people.
Who We Work With
Our contributors include chefs, farmers, foragers, bakers, craft beverage producers, artists, illustrators, photographers, writers, cultural leaders, and residents. Participation is open to all backgrounds.
Our Commitment
We honour the shared, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw, Lil’wat Nation, and St̓át̓imc Nation and work to ensure this project is welcoming, respectful, and inclusive to all communities.
